What is demi-permanent haircolor?
Whereas semi-permanent color merely deposits color on the surface of the hair strand and
permanent color fully penetrates the strand, demi-permanent color falls somewhere in between. It does contain a developer that allows the color to penetrate the hair’s outer cuticle (without going as deep as permanent color). For this reason, it is generally easier on the hair than permanent color, though it doesn’t last as long. Like other professional color offerings, demi-permanent color should only be applied by trained stylists.
