Orders

Can I modify my order?

Once an order has been placed, none of the items can be changed or removed, and no items can be added.

Can I cancel my order?

Canceling an order is time-sensitive so please reach out to us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. If an order has already shipped out, then this cannot be canceled. Please reach out to us via phone during our business hours at 1-888-700-1817 or via the Contact Us page.

When will I be charged for my order?

We only charge our customers once an order has been shipped out! When you place your order, the amount will be held by your credit card institution in a pending authorization until your order has been processed and shipped.

Shipping & Returns

What are your shipping options?

Free shipping is available on all US orders (excluding Alaska and Hawaii, to which Moroccanoil offers a $35 flat rate shipping fee). We require 1–2 business days for processing and shipping can take up to an additional 2–5 business days. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii takes approximately 3 weeks.

Express shipping is available on all US orders (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) for a $14.99 shipping fee. Express orders placed by 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time on business days will ship out the same day. Express orders placed after 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time on business days will ship out the next business day. Express orders placed on weekends and holidays will ship out the next business day. Express shipping takes approximately 2 business days. Due to federal regulations, express shipping is not available for orders containing aerosol products.

Moroccanoil orders are shipped on business days (Monday through Friday 8:30–17:30, excluding holidays). Kindly note that processing and shipping times are subject to delays during major holidays. For more information, please contact Client Care or refer to our Shipping Policy.

What company do you use to ship orders?

We ship with FedEx SmartPost in the USA and Canada Post in Canada.

What is your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your Moroccanoil.com purchase, we’ll happily accept returns within 30 days of receipt. To initiate a return, please reach out via our Contact Page with your order number, the product(s) you would like to return, and the reason for your return.

If you did not purchase your products from Moroccanoil.com or they are not covered under our Product Warranty, please contact the place of purchase regarding your return request. Our full return policy is available here.

What is the signature Moroccanoil scent?

Our signature scent—also known as Fragrance Originale is inspired by the Mediterranean and features a blend of spicy amber and sweet floral notes.

All of our hair products feature Fragrance Originale. Unless noted otherwise, our body products do, as well—however, four of our body products are also available in additional Mediterranean-inspired scents!

Pure Argan Oil is our only unfragranced product.

Can I use Moroccanoil products on my body?

We offer a full line of argan oil-infused body products! Explore them here.

Can I use Moroccanoil products while I am pregnant or nursing?

We recommend consulting your physician for any concerns. All ingredients used are listed on our packaging as well as on each product page on the website. For more information please contact us.

Moroccanoil Rewards

What is Moroccanoil Rewards?

Moroccanoil Rewards is a loyalty program that rewards registered members with points every time they shop on our US website. Points can then be redeemded for products in the Rewards Boutique, or for dollars toward a future order.

All members have access exclusive rewards including but not limited to free shipping, birthday points, and special gifts with purchase. In addition to shopping on Moroccanoil.com, members can earn points by performing other program actions such as writing a review for a verified purchase, referring a friend, or following Moroccanoil social accounts. See the next question for more details on how to earn points!

How do I earn points?

Members earn one point for every $1 spent on Moroccanoil.com. (During points multiplier events, this number may increase!) It's also possible to earn points through additional actions, all of which are detailed on thee Moroccanoil Rewards page under WAYS TO EARN POINTS.

Do my points expire?

Yes, points expire after 12 months of account inactivity. Account inactivity occurs when you do not earn or redeem points.

How do I enroll in the program?

Enrollment is completely free! Simply visit the Rewards page and create an account to be automatically enrolled in the "Original" tier. If you have an existing account, you’re all set to start earning points! Exclusive to the US website.

What free gifts can I earn?

Moroccanoil Rewards points can be redeemed for free products in the Rewards Boutique. The available products change throughout the year. Log in and visit the Rewards page to see what is currently available!

Rewards points can also be redeemed for dollars toward a future purchase. For more information, visit the REDEEM FOR DOLLARS section of your account page.

Are my free gifts refundable or exchangeable?

No, free gifts are not refundable or exchangeable.

What are the special gifts with purchase?

Periodically, we offer promotional gifts with purchase that are exclusively available for Moroccanoil Rewards members. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter to find out when one is available!

Can I earn points by buying Moroccanoil products at a salon or another retailer?

You can only earn points for a purchase if it was made through our US website while logged in to your Moroccanoil Rewards account.

I referred a friend but did not receive my reward. Why?

Your friend must use your referral code to create their Moroccanoil Rewards account and place an order of at least $80 (excluding taxes). If they have done so and you haven’t received your Moroccanoil Rewards referral gift, please reach out to us!

When do I see my points adjustments?

Points earned with each purchase are updated in your account once the order is shipped. Points earned using other program benefits may be reflected immediately in your account. If you have additional questions about points adjustments, please contact Client Care at info@moroccanoil.com or 1-888-700-1817.

How do I get to the next Moroccanoil Rewards tier?

You are automatically enrolled in the ORIGINAL tier. To reach the ICON tier, you need 150+ points. To reach the GOLD tier, you need 400+ points.

Is Moroccanoil Rewards available to customers outside the US?

At this time, Moroccanoil Rewards is only available to customers in the United States.

How can I earn points with my product reviews?

Approximately 2–3 weeks after placing your order, you will
receive an email asking you to rate and review the product(s) you purchased. To ensure your account is credited with Moroccanoil Rewards points (20 points per review), the review must be done through the Rate and Review email. Once you
post your review, you will receive a confirmation requesting verification. 

Reviews made directly on the website instead of through the
Rate and Review email will not earn points. Orders placed as a guest, or outside of Moroccanoil.com will not qualify for review points. (Reminder: Only 10 of your verified reviews will qualify for points throughout the year for a maximum of 200 points!) These extra steps help us ensure that as many reviews
as possible come from verified purchases—making shopping for products better for everyone!

What happened to Beauty Circle?

Beauty Circle has been reimagined as Moroccanoil Rewards! The new program has the same basic structure as Beauty Circle, but with even more benefits and ways to earn points.

Don't worry, all of the points and status you earned as a Beauty Circle member will transfer over to Moroccanoil Rewards as long as you follow the proper steps to activate your new account.

Auto-Replenish

What is Moroccanoil Auto-Replenish?

Never run out of your favorite Moroccanoil products again! Our Auto-Replenish service is provided free to you on Moroccanoil.com for select Moroccanoil products. Auto-Replenish will automatically send selected products to you at a predetermined fresquency of your choice.

You will save 5% on every product purchased through Auto-Replenish. Once you sign up, you can track your Auto-Replenish orders by signing into your Moroccanoil Rewards account.

What items qualify for Auto-Replenish?

If a product qualifies for Auto-Replenish, you will be able to pick your frequency on the product page.

For what time intervals can I set up Auto-Replenish?

You can select your frequency anywhere from every 1 month to every 3 months.

Can my Auto-Replenish be cancelled?

Yes! You may cancel at any time in one of three ways:

  1. Via your Auto-Replenish account page, which can be found by logging into your account profile at moroccanoil.com
  2. Using the subscription management link in your upcoming order email, which is sent to the email you used to sign up for Auto-Replenish several days ahead of each delivery
  3. By contacting our Client Care team

 Please cancel 5 business days before your next auto-delivery order.

What if my shipping address changes?

If your shipping address changes, you must cancel the order(s) associated with that address. Please cancel 5 business days before your next Auto-Replenish order. Replace your order with your new address.

What shipping charges are associated with Auto-Replenish?

Auto-Replenish orders ship for free. Returns and refunds are processed in accordance with Moroccanoil’s Refund & Return policy and shipping charges may apply.

What if my credit card is no longer valid, or I'd like to change my card on file?

If your credit card is no longer valid, you must cancel the order(s) associated with that address. Please cancel 5 business days before your next auto-delivery order. Replace your order with your new address.

Can I cancel only certain products from Auto-Replenish?

Yes! Please ensure that you cancel 5 business days before your next Auto-Replenish order.

Will I receive Moroccanoil Rewards points on my Auto-Replenish orders?

Yes, you will still earn one point for every dollar spent. You will also earn 10 points when you sign up for Auto-Replenish.

When will I be charged for my Auto-Replenish order?

Auto-Replenish orders will be charged to the payment method you provided on the day the order is shipped. This will occur within 1 to 3 business days of the order date and frequency that was selected when you signed up for the Auto-Replenish program.

When will my Auto-Replenish products ship?

All future orders will be processed depending on the frequency you chose for your Auto-Replenish schedule. For example, if you sign-up for an Auto-Replenish on January 1st to replenish every 30 days, your next replenishment will be shipped within 1-3 business days of February 1st.

Will I receive a shipping notification when my Auto-Replenish items are shipped?

Yes, you will receive a shipping e-mail once your Auto-Replenish order is on its way.

How do I view my future Auto-Replenish orders?

Log into your account and click on “My Auto-Replenish Orders” to view future auto-delivery orders.

How can I change the frequency of an Auto-Replenish order?

You will need to cancel your existing Auto-Replenish order and place a new one to change the frequency.

Can I pause my Auto-Replenish order?

Log into your account, and click on “My Auto-Replenish Orders” to suspend your subscription.

Gift Cards

How do I redeem my gift card?

Gift cards can be used as a form of payment on Moroccanoil.com.
To redeem, simply apply your unique 16-character redemption code during the checkout process.

Please note that gift cards are only valid on Moroccanoil.com cannot be used to purchase Moroccanoil products at other retailers or in salons. Gift cards are only available and valid in the United States.

Can I purchase a gift card for any amount?

Gift cards are only available in the following amounts: $25, $50, $75, $100, $150.

Can I apply a discount when purchasing a gift card?

No, discounts and promotional codes cannot be applied when purchasing a gift card. However, purchases made with gift cards are eligible for active discounts and promotions.

Can you apply a discount to purchases made with gift cards?

Yes, purchases made using a gift card are still eligible for active promotions or offers.

What do I do if I misplaced my gift card?

In the event that you are unable to locate your gift card information in your email inbox, please reach out to our Client Care team for assistance.

Can a gift card be used more than once?

Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

How can I check my gift card balance?

The balance shown in the initial email presenting your gift card will update automatically when you make purchases. If you are unable to locate the email, please reach out to our Client Care team for assistance.

Can I return my gift card?

No, gift cards are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

If I return a product purchased with a gift card, will the gift card balance be refunded?

Yes. If you use a gift card to pay for the purchase, then the refund will be applied to the gift card balance.

Do Moroccanoil.com gift cards ever expire?

No, they do not.

Can I split a payment between a gift card and a credit card?

Yes. If your gift card does not cover the order total, you can use a credit card to pay for the remaining balance.

Can I purchase a physical gift card?

No, we are only able to offer virtual gift cards at this time.

How can I send a gift card as a gift to someone else?

On the gift card page, simply check the box indicating that you wish to send as a gift. You’ll then be prompted to enter the recipient’s name and email address and given the option to add a message.

Can a gift card be used to buy another gift card?

No, gift cards can only be used to purchase products.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

Can I pay for a subscription order with a gift card?

Yes, you can use gift cards to pay for your first payment. However, you can't use your gift card to pay for recurring subscriptions. Accordingly, you will be prompted to provide an additional payment method when signing up for a subscription order.
