Now that we’re finally recovering from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s show-stopping Oscar night performance (!!!), we’re turning our attention to a subject we can speak to with a bit more authority: the hair. More specifically, the super chic S wave hairstyle Moroccanoil Celebrity Hairstylist Bryce Scarlet created for the inimitable Brie Larson.
Speaking to the inspiration, Bryce said, “I wanted her hair to have a cool girl slept-in textured soft and not over shiny look to complement her shiny dress.”
(The seriously dazzling gown, by the way, was Celine. Be still our hearts.)
We might be biased, but Brie looked incredible—both on the red carpet and later in the night, when she presented along with her Captain Marvel co-stars. To create her look—well, at least the hair portion—follow the instructions below.

On damp hair, use a dime size amount of Moroccanoil Treatment Light to provide the perfect foundation for styling.
Next, apply Volumizing Mousse at the roots of the hair and Blow-dry Concentrate at the ends.
Blow-dry the hair using the MO2000 Professional Series Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Dryer with the 45 mm Boar Bristle Round Brush for a smooth and full-bodied blowout.
Then, bend hair with the Professional Series Titanium Ceramic Hairstyling Iron to create different sized S waves throughout the hair for a textured, voluminous style.
Break up the waves with your fingers and spray Dry Texture Spray generously throughout the hair while keeping the arch around the frame of the face.
Lastly, spray Luminous Hairspray Medium throughout sections of the hair to create a tousled finish look.
