Here we’re answering all your questions about both, which are officially available to shop today.
What is All in One Leave-in Conditioner?
Our new All in One Leave-in Conditioner is a lightweight, multitasking spray that instantly detangles and hydrates hair while protecting it against breakage and thermal damage. It’s also got long-lasting powers—it nourishes and softens the hair for up to 72 hours.
What is Volumizing Mist?
Volumizing Mist is a weightless, body-boosting mist formulated to infuse fine, limp hair with volume. Its buildable formula basically puts you in control of your own volume destiny—you can apply just as much as you need to get the look you’re after, or pair it with other volumizing products to amplify the effects. Best of all, the argan oil-infused formula leaves your hair touchable and full of life—never stiff or sticky. Hair will look up to 50% fuller, and just like All in One Leave-in Conditioner, it’s long-lasting—results stick around for up to 72 hours.
Are All in One Leave-in Conditioner and Volumizing Mist meant to be used together?
Not necessarily—but don’t let that stop you! Like all of our products, our two new launches are formulated to play well with others, both within their respective collections and our full product range. That means you can layer Moroccanoil Treatment and All in One Leave-in Conditioner for extra softness and shine, or follow Volumizing Mist with Root Boost to really turn the volume all the way up. But we didn’t launch these two together because they’re inseparable. They’re just two products that you’ve been asking for—and we figured if there were ever a time to double up on the excitement, 2020 is it.
How do you use All in One Leave-in Conditioner?
Because it detangles hair, equalizes porosity, and provides heat protection, All in One Leave-in Conditioner is an excellent product to use at the start of your styling routine. (However, order of application is a matter of personal preference—feel free to experiment and figure out what works best for you!) To use it, spray evenly throughout clean, towel-dried hair, making sure to press down firmly on the center of the pump for the best result. Comb through, apply your usual styling products, and style as usual.
Can you use All in One Leave-in Conditioner on dry hair, too?
Sure thing! It will spruce up dry, brittle strands in a pinch. You can also apply it all-over to rewet and restyle second-day hair.
What do leave-in conditioners do?
To oversimplify, exactly what it sounds like. A leave-in conditioner should serve all of the purposes as the conditioner you use in the shower. (Think hydrating, detangling, and softening strands.) However, because it stays in your hair, you should enjoy the benfits for even longer. We wanted All in One Leave-in Conditioner to go above and beyond, so we made sure it also protected hair from breakage and thermal damage. This makes it ideal for applying before blow-drying.
What’s in All in One Leave-in Conditioner?
In addition to argan oil—our signature ingredient that nourishes hair, boost shine, and smooths frizz—the All in One Leave-in Conditioner formula is loaded with a superstar lineup of hair-fortifying ingredients. Naturally derived sugars function as an anti-dehydration shield. Pure Amino Acids are a vegetable-based keratin alternative to enhance hair strength and elasticity. A blend of superfoods (including sunflower seed oil, quinoa extract, and barley extract) provides extra nourishment, nutrients, and antioxidants. It almost sounds good enough to eat, right?
I have fine hair. Will All in One Leave-in Conditioner weigh it down?
Nope! We wanted this to be a product that really worked for everyone, regardless of hair type. That said—as with any product—you should take your hair texture and density into consideration when deciding how much to use. The formula has a lightweight, milky consistency and comes out in a fine spray. This makes it easier to control how much you apply and ensure even application.
How do you use Volumizing Mist?
It’s easy! Just mist generously throughout clean, towel-dried hair from roots to ends, then blow-dry.
What makes Volumizing Mist different from other volumizing products?
Aside from the fact that it leaves hair touchable (without a flaky or sticky finish!), it also contains Rice Amino Acids to help strengthen and fortify the hair. And while the formula does include Dead Sea Salt, the low concentration makes it safe for keratin and color-treated hair. In fact, Dead Sea Salt is uniquely gentle and infused with a variety of restorative minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Can I use Volumizing Mist with other volumizing products?
Yes! For instance, you might want to pair it with Thickening Lotion to double down on all-over fullness, Root Boost for extra lift, or Dry Texture Spray to reactivate a high-volume, texturized look in second-day hair. However, you don’t need to pair it with other products to see a result and should achieve a full, bouncy look regardless.
Do the new products feature the Moroccanoil signature scent?
